Resources for Los Angeles Wildfire Relief and Support

Sending love and support to those impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Over 100K have been forced to evacuate, but the strength of community is shining through in this crisis. We are sharing resources like mutual aid efforts, go bag essentials, and stories of resilience from our community. Let’s remember the power of connection—not just in difficult times, but in everyday moments of care and intention.

Here are resources to support relief efforts:

(from friends, listservs + credible social media accounts)

Here's a spreadsheet to support the many Black families affected by the Eaton fires. This is an incredible list of local organizations offering various forms of support to local residents right now, which is being widely shared right now. Mutual Aid LA is connecting people with resources as well.

The Hood Witch shared an amazing list of resources from what to pack in your go bag (yes, everyone should have one, I’m working on mine this month) to how to prep for power outages and more.

Hood Herbalism shared an Indigenous Go Bag Essentials list, especially for respiratory, nervous system and emotional care. Brown Girls Climb also shared a super informative carousel in evacuation centers, apps to download and mental health hotlines

If you need a reminder about how resilient and heartfelt our community is, check out this piece on how the Latino community in Los Angeles is mobilizing to help support fire victims or this really inspiring story about how Latino immigrants rushed in to put out fires.

Moments like this remind us of the importance of coming together—not just in the hard times, but in the small, intentional ways we can build connection and care in our daily lives. Whether it’s through nature, journaling, or simply checking in with loved ones, it all matters.
